Peter Campbell is associate professor of political science at Baylor University. Among the topics of his research and publications are international security, civil-military relations, strategy, international relations scholarship and policy relevance, insurgency and counterinsurgency, the just war tradition, military culture, and cyber warfare. Campbell holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Notre Dame, an M.A. in war studies from King’s College London, and a B.A.H. in philosophy from the University of Winnipeg. He is the author of Military Realism: The Logic and Limits of Force and Innovation in the US Army (University of Missouri Press, 2019).
